Use your own quotes or estimates in CAD. Include taxes and fees in each amount yourself. This tool adds costs; it does not decide whether a deposit or charge is legal, or predict what a move usually costs.
Your moving plan
All amounts are CAD. Use numbers without commas or a $ symbol, with up to two decimal places. Enter 0–10,000,000 per field. Blank means zero, not a confirmed cost.

Total needed = one-time costs + chosen cash buffer. Gap = total needed − money available now. Includes no automatic prices, tax calculation or funding.
General planning, not legal or financial advice. No default buffer or typical prices. Deposits are counted as cash needed even if refundable. Exclude expected refunds until available; do not count a cost twice.

How to use the worksheet and calculator
- List one-time amounts based on your quotes, including taxes and fees. Blank fields count as zero; they do not mean a service is free.
- Add a cash buffer you choose. No percentage or recommended amount is supplied.
- Total cash needed = one-time costs + buffer. Gap = total cash needed − money already available.
- A positive gap is extra cash needed; a negative gap means available cash exceeds the entered plan. It is not a funding offer.
Count deposits as upfront cash even if they may later be refunded. Exclude refunds until available. Check which payments are lawful locally and when they fall due. This is a total-cost plan, not a payment-date schedule. Keep ongoing rent, insurance and utilities in your monthly budget, and avoid counting the same payment twice.
