Find a free tax clinic
Find community tax clinics for a modest income and a simple tax situation. This entry links to the official locator, not a verified appointment at a specific clinic.
Coverage: Canada-wide clinic locator; Quebec uses a separate volunteer program
Who may be eligible
These are starting-point criteria, not an eligibility decision. The provider makes the final assessment.
- Both a modest income and a simple tax situation are required. Clinic organizations may adjust income guidelines.
- Complex returns are generally not supported. Quebec residents use the Income Tax Assistance – Volunteer Program; federal return preparation is free, but minimal provincial-return fees may apply.
How to access support
- Use the CRA page to check eligibility, prepare tax documents and find walk-in, drop-off or appointment clinics.
- Confirm the location and appointment with the clinic; some clinics operate from private residences. Do not send tax documents through Maple Neighbours.
Confirm current service area, appointments and access arrangements before travelling.
What to confirm with the provider
- No local clinic date, volunteer availability or appointment has been verified here.
We cannot confirm live availability, spaces, stock or your individual eligibility.
